The fall theatre season is alive with the most popular plays of the summer, as well as four just-opened plays that promise to challenge the intellectual in you. There’s Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance; The Odyssey, a retelling of Jason’s monumental, mythical journey by Nobel Prize-winning author Derek Walcott, with a Caribbean twist; Pentecost, David Edgar’s best-known play, which questions the value of art in society; and Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband (oh, don’t you wish?).

But let’s not pretend Stratford is only for academics—forbid!—because Oklahoma! is stomping across the Festival’s thrust stage until November, and A Comedy of Errors and My One and Only are here until the end of October. And a bonus for theatre-lovers of all stripes are the special fall savings of up to 30% off on selected performances.
