Electricity Exhibit: A Spark of Genius
The story of electricity spans over 400 years but it took 200 years to get to the point where electric light could be produced in the laboratory. Discover the St. Jacobs connection to the use of electricity as a public utility! See the original turbine that provided electric power to the mill and village in earlier days as well as many interesting artifacts, photos and displays. This exhibit is sure to "spark" your interest.

St. Marys Museum
The main museum building is a large 1850's home built from locally quarried limestone. The museum offers changing and permanent exhibits. There is a variety of programs including a children's discovery area. Also a woodworking shop and displays of farm implements and early methods of transportation.
